Temple Carrig’s Grrrl Power

We were so distracted by the Temple Carrig’s Minor team beating Dublin Oak Academy on Thursday – 10-nil! – that we failed to register that the girls were picking up some silverware for the school too. 

The location was Avondale, the occasion, The East Leinster Cross Country Competition, and two of Temple Carrig’s teams strolled home with wins.

Champions in the Intermediate Girls 2.5k A race was the mighty team of Alanna Lewis, Melanie Williams, Sarah O’Connor, Isobel Redford-Dodd and Megan O’Brien, pictured above.

Winning the Junior B 1.5k race was the unbeatable foursome of Molly Crowe, Leah Kearney, Sarah Wright and Sophie Dallaghan, pictured top left.

Well done, one and all!
