owever difficult it may have been to leave her native Brazil, it seems that stepping away from the corporate world was just about the best thing that ever happened to Lillian Jauregui.

Having long realised that there was more to life than meetings about meetings, a blissful Plan B had been fermenting for many years when that final day at the office arrived.

“Sometimes, we have to be forced into doing what we love,” says Lillian today, looking ridiculously luminous at her Hawkins Wood salon. “I’m sure I would have gotten around to doing this one day, but I was scared. Having to make that choice early on was really a blessing.

“I’m so, so happy doing what I do now…”

And what exactly does Lillian Jauregui do? Well, for many years, the lady had immersed herself “in the art of massage, embarked on a mystical journey of Reiki and delved into the wisdom of a health coach“.

Ms Jauregui also found the time to move into her dream Greystones home along with her beloved other half. But, hey, back to the poetry.

Where this “symphony of holistic therapies” brought Lillian was to the simple realisation that she had found her calling. And so, Blissful Spa Retreat was born, “a haven where healing vibes and tranquility converge“. In Hawkins Wood.
