t might just be fair to say that we’re somewhat spoilt for choice when it comes to cafés in Greystones.

It would also be fair to say that many of them have their own particular flavour, their own particular music.

When it comes to that need to just hide away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life though, they don’t come much finer than Café Gourmet.

Tucked away beside Greystones library, here, you’re protected from the wind and the whinge of the main drag, as Vick and Ira welcome you into their home.

Where the kettle is always on the stove, fresh coffee is a-brewing, and there’s an overflow of fine food to contend with too.

This funky Moldovian couple founded Café Gourmet Greystones back in August 2016, and have always prided themselves on serving locally-sourced organic fair-trade coffee, whilst their carefully chosen menu will cover you for breakfast, lunch, sandwiches, dessert, salads and a whole host of house specials.

That there’s just as much space outside as there is in the snug indoors means you can enjoy this cosy hideaway all year round.
