Flower Power: Eilo Vickers

Bloomin’ lovely…

hen we swung up to Eilo Vickers’ little Grattan Park hideaway back in June for her My Greystones guest spot, we were struck by just how beautiful her garden was.

And so, it was only natural that, having started a new Flower Power column last week celebrating some of the town’s sweeter plots of pretty, we just had to head back up that hill.

Eilo moved into her current home 40 years ago, and she immediately followed her mother’s family tradition of being, as the woman says herself, “flower maniacs”.

BLOOM!

So, feast your eyes, and let your nostrils imagine the beauty too, as we join yet another Greystonian who’s clearly one mean green machine…
