here are times when all the brain and belly needs is a good short, sharp shock of fast food.

A little junk that – Bum! – might just sit in your trunk for years to come.

At other times, slow food is the order of the day. Slow food that stays on the tongue, and boasts more than two colours.

Which is where Divine Foodie Platters comes into play. Fresh out of their big sparkly kitchen over in Kilcoole, these healthy, hearty and scrumptious snackathons will still be delivering hidden yums when most other takeaways are just a distant burp.

But, hey, enough of our insightful, witty and strangely sexual yakking. Over to Divine Foodie Platters…

Having started during the first lockdown in 2020 with the simple idea of wanting to deliver beautifully-presented fresh and local produce to people’s doors, The Divine Foodie’s decadent platters are filled with Irish farmhouse cheese, homemade chutneys, relishes, homebaked brown bread, yummy cakes and lucious salads – making for an enticing and exciting dining experience, date night or surprise gift.

Ordering afternoon tea or a platter to be delivered to a loved one for a special occasion has proven to be the perfect solution for many, unable to visit due to the restrictions.

One year on, and the Divine Foodie have added vegan and gluten-free options, brunches, afternoon tea and jam-packed picnics to the menu.

And right on cue, the fine weather has come marching over the hill.

Whilst still growing steadily with the usual orders for end-of-week dine-ins, birthdays, anniversaries and, what the heck, even the occasional dog bar mitzvahs, The Divine Foodie’s have also seen huge growth in corporate deliveries, including RTE, Linkedin, Accenture, HubSpot, and Google, all keeping their gangs happy with funky and fresh platters delivered straight to their desks.

Sure, a cheese and charcuterie board has become the new pint after work, and a Divine Foodie brunch after a dip has become the new morning-after hangover cure. And hey, we’re ok about that.

With the addition of Sunday brunches delivery launching soon, make sure to keep Divine Foodie’s name on your fridge so you can take the hassle out of making a scrumptuous meal out of a mountain of yummy, healthy ingredients.

Delivery is from Thursday to Saturday, covering pretty much everywhere in Wicklow to Dublin and, on Saturdays, beyond. You can check the website here for days and destinations.
