Music Generation Wicklow is delighted to announce the return of The Sound Crowd Junior Community Choir for 8-to-13-year-old boys and girls! 

This is a community-based choir made up of members from different schools, where interest in choral singing is nurtured through a wide range of repertoire, and talent is developed in a fun, relaxed atmosphere.

Sound Crowd have wowed audiences at Wicklow Sings Festival and Kaleidoscope Festival.

They are directed by Joan Dempsey, who works in three Wicklow schools for Music Generation Wicklow, directs several community choirs and sings with the National Symphony Chorus.

Rehearsals are weekly from 4.45pm to 5.45pm in Greystones Presbyterian Church Hall, Trafalgar Road.

A Try Out session will take place on Monday, September 23rd, and everyone is welcome to come along to find out what all the fun is about. Full rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 30th.
