Which means that, for the owner, the whole soapy procedure can be a major pain. Followed by a mighty messy bathroom.

Which is why many Greystonians will be welcoming the arrival of the Bubbles Dog Wash, sitting pretty up at Blacklion’s Man + Machine Car Wash, beside BestDrive and the K clan. 

Having recently picked up the Specialist Pet Service Of The Year at The Pet Awards in November, you’ll find Bubbles all over the country.

Mainly because founder Dylan Brady wanted to make sure that everything was just right before daring to open in the dog capital of Ireland.

And it couldn’t be simpler to use. Taking just cards, it’s €10 for 10 minutes, or €13 for 15 minutes, and then you can go through the cycle of shampoo, rinse, conditioner, rinse, flea wash (don’t rinse this one out), low blow dry and then high blow dry, with top-ups available.

If your dog is one of those long-haired hippies, bringing a towel along for afters is recommended. For both of you.
