elebrating two years in sunny Kilcoole this month, PhysioKlinic has helped an awful lot of people walk tall around here.
And run straight.
It also happens to be the only chartered physiotherapy clinic in Kilcoole, and a big part of local lad Shane Keogh’s goal is to improve access to healthcare. Not just here, but on a national level.
Helping him achieve that goal is, fittingly enough, Ella Roberts, a chartered physiotherapist who also just happens to play rugby for Leinster.
Nice. Here’s the official lowdown…
At PhysioKlinic, we want to be able to make healthcare more readily accessible as well as more affordable.
In order to achieve this, we will provide:
⦿ Reduced Rate Telehealth Appointments ⦿ Community Visits
Our aim is to promote health and well being in the wider community and work alongside other business’ in the area to try create a more accessible and well rounded health care experience for all our current and future clients.
We hope to empower clients to take control of their own health by educating and providing a supportive environment, alongside access to equipment and resources to facilitate their rehabilitation journey.
All About Ella Chartered physiotherapist Ella Roberts has joined the team. A Trinity graduate, Ella is also a professional rugby player with Leinster and has some Irish rugby caps too. She recently won the inter-pros, having beat Munster. She will be running specialised ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) programmes for athletes in the greater Wicklow area. Having experienced the injury herself she has a wealth of knowledge to help people get back to the top of their game.
All About Shane Founder Shane Keogh hails from Kilcoole, and he has a BSc degrees in Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy, as well as a masters degrees in Orthopaedic Medicine. Shane has worked in many hospital settings and continues to treat in the HSE, as well as having worked a couple of seasons with Coventry City Football Club.
All About Ali Director, manager and COO, Ali is the one who makes PhysioKlinic click. In a godo way. An accredited psychotherapis and counsellor, outside of running the day-to-day at PhysioKlinic, Ali loves actual running and hitting the gym. Shane reckons the clinic is extremely lucky top have someone as motivated, driven and just all-round-lovely as Ali. Then again, he would say that.
