f you happened to be down the town this Halloween Day, who 
knows who you would have bumped into…
the Bride of Frankenstein and what we can only imagine is what Joe Sweeney looks like without his make-up.
It was the perfect film for the perfect day that was in it, with the freaks and geeks off-screen even more magical, mischievous and, well, mad-hattered than the wacky inhabitants of Halloween Town.
The hardest part of the day was deciding on who of the 90 or so perfectly-costumed scary monsters and super freaks at this sold-out screening deserved the goodie bag spot prizes. In the end, we had to secretly select those winners, mainly because each and everyone present deserved to be crowned Supreme Ruler Of Halloween Town.
A sell-out show, if you want to join in on the big-screen magic at The Whale this coming Christmas, best book your seats for upcoming festive faves Home Alone, the Raymond Briggs double-bill of Father Christmas and The Snowman or Elf sooner rather than tomorrow.
